Mr. Grover Houston Coram, age 82 of Ellijay, GA passed Saturday afternoon, August 5th, 2017 at the Murray Medical Center in Chatsworth, GA.
Mr. Coram was born June 30, 1935 in Chatsworth, GA to his late parents Eli and Lissie L. Carter Coram. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Dalton, GA and worked as a truck driver. Grover enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling. He is preceded in death by his son, Willie Houston Coram.
Survivors include his wife, Lightfeather Coram; daughters and sons-in-law, Frankie Mae and Franklin Layman of Chatsworth, GA, Margaret Harness of Ellijay, GA, Edith and Raymond Graham of Eton, GA, Minnie and John Baldwin of Ellijay, GA, Dimple and Mark Cross of Chatsworth, GA, and Shirley and Willy Baggett of Chatsworth, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, George Elijah and Theresa Coram of Chatsworth, GA, Grover, Jr. and Young Coram of Dalton, GA and Barbara Coram of Cohutta, GA; 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Ellen Deal of Chatsworth, GA; brothers, Clarence Coram of TN and Ray Cantrell of Dalton, GA also survive.
A private family memorial service is being planned and will be held at a later date.
