Linda Jo Williams Davis

Mrs. Linda Jo Williams Davis, age 67 of Talking Rock, GA passed Friday evening, October 27th, 2017 at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA.

Mrs. Davis was born March 3rd, 1950 in Atlanta, GA.  Linda attended the University of Georgia, and before her retirement worked as an accountant for the Coosawattee River Resort Association.  She was of the Christian faith, loved spending time with her family, loved her animals and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs football fan.  Her father, Rev. David Lee Williams, precedes her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Paul Davis of the home in Talking Rock, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and David Cartee of Gaston, SC, Johnsie Yvonne Ouellette and Daniel Burke of East Dublin, GA, Jackie and David Pacheco of Swansea, SC, and Melanie and Greg Barnes of Vienna, WV; sons and daughter-in-law, Tylor Marshall Davis of Miami, FL and Timothy James and Lisa Davis of Lula, GA; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; mother, Barbara Ann Gregory Williams of Talking Rock, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Lee Ann and Mark Adams of Talking Rock, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Beth Williams and Greg and Paula Williams, all of Talking Rock, GA also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 31st, 2017 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with her brothers Greg Williams and David Williams officiating and speaking.  Music and vocals will be by Greg Williams.  Graveside interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with David Williams, Hunter Williams, Brandon DeLong, Alex Williams, Anthony Williams, and Tylor Davis serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Adams, David Cartee, David Pacheco, Tony Wallace, Jr., Royalton Hurst, Phillip May, Mitchell York, Braxton Ouellette, Jesse Townson, Clint Adams and Daniel Burke.

Family will receive friends from 3pm until 8pm on Monday, October 30th, 2017 and from 9am until the service hour at 2pm on Tuesday, October 31st, 2017at the Logan Funeral Home.
