Mrs. Shirley Jean Bradley Ledford, age 79 of Cherrylog, GA, passed Tuesday evening, November 14th, 2017 at the Tranquility at Kennesaw Hospice.
Mrs. Ledford was born June 8th, 1938 in Ellijay, GA to her late parents Ed Bradley and Edith Hannah Watts Bradley. She and her husband owned and operated the Dairy Queen in Conyers, GA, and Shirley also worked for many years in the cafeteria at Ellijay Primary School. Mrs. Ledford loved spending time with her family, crocheting, and working on word puzzles. She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Prince, and siblings, Martha Wilson and Eddie Bradley.
Survivors include her husband of 64.5 years, Gerald Felton Ledford, Sr. of the home in Cherrylog, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Charles Cammarata of Gainesville, GA, Linda and Robert Cooley, Sr. of Sparta, GA, Geraldine and Michael Dean, Sr. of Conyers, GA and Beverly and Ricky Knight, Sr. of Conyers, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald Ledford, Jr. of McDonough, GA and James Edward and Tara Ledford of Cherrylog, GA; 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Coker of Tennessee; brother, Tommy Pankey of Tennessee; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene and Jane Ledford of Blue Ridge, GA also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, November 17th, 2017 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Min. Butch Jones officiating. Graveside interment will follow in the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery with Ricky Knight, Jr., Greg Pitts, Michael Dean, Jr., Jonathan Dean, Wyatt Ledford, and Robby Blan serving as pallbearers.
Family will receive friends from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday, November 16th, 2017 at the Logan Funeral Home.
