Mrs. Debra (Debbie) Ann Reed, 65, of Lakeland, FL & Ellijay, GA passed away Monday, Dec 21, at her home in Ellijay, GA. Debbie was born Dec 29, 1954, in Miami, FL to her late parents, Thomas E. and Laverne Haskins Aids. Debbie graduated from Auburndale High School in 1972 and later went on to receive her nursing degree from Polk State College. She became a Registered Nurse and was employed at the Regency in Winter Haven, Florida. Debbie was a dedicated Christian and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Lakeland, FL. She married Roger Reed on Sept 1, 1978. He survives. In addition to her husband, Debbie is survived by her only daughter, Tara Clark and her son-in-law David Clark of Texas. She is also survived by her brother Thomas E. Aids Jr of Florida, as well as a nephew, William Lawrence Weston of Lake City, and two great nieces Chaney Weston and Caroline Weston. Due to Covid-19 no Memorial Services are planned at this time. Donations can be made to the Humane Society of Lakeland in Debbie Reed’s name.
