Miss Betty was friend of my mothers', Bess Hoffman.
I can remember my mom talking about her often. She genuinely liked Betty. And my mom was VERY particular. At the time, my son was in HS & making new friends. Shortly after I found out that Miss Betty was the aunt of my son's friend, Dudgerick Bevins.
I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Betty through AARP. I found out that she was an avid animal lover and rescued many.
Miss Betty was a very special lady that was loved by everyone. 3 generations in my family all found a special bond with her. She will be missed.
Rest In Peace, sweet Betty.
I never had the pleasure of meeting Betty 'in person'...but, spoke with her on many occasions...also, we exchanged
Christmas cards. She was a dear friend of my Grandmother, Charlsie Lewis, (deceased-2005 @99). They attended Bingo at the Senior Center...I think she helped my Grandmother with the game, and she adored Betty.
I am saddened by your loss. Prayers/Blessings to all of you.
