Ms. Dorothy Jean Aaron Cook, age 73 of Adairsville, GA, formerly of Ellijay, GA passed Tuesday morning, April 17th, 2018 at her residence.
Ms. Cook was born September 15th, 1944 in Woodstock, GA to her late parents Irvin Watson Aaron and Amanda Mathis Aaron. She attended Crossroads Baptist Church and worked as a machine operator for the Southern Tea Company.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Allen Sirek of Cartersville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Melissa Lawson of Adairsville, GA; grandchildren, Michael Bryant, Nate Bryant, Tyler Sirek and Alyssa Lawson; great grandchild, Cameron Bryant; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty and Robert Bagley of Duluth, GA and Bernice Aaron Townsend of Ellijay, GA; brother and sisters-in-law, Junior and Judy Aaron of Canton, GA, Wylene Aaron of Woodstock, GA and Pat Aaron of Ellijay, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, April 20th, 2018 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Withrow officiating. Music and vocals will be by the Kerr Family. Interment will be in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Nate Bryant, Michael Bryant, and Stephen Cochran serving as pallbearers.
Family will receive friends from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday, April 19th, 2018 at the Logan Funeral Home.
