Obituary of Lethel Weaver

Mrs. Lethel Fowler Weaver, age 92 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 9th, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Weaver was born on January 4th, 1927 in Ellijay, GA to her late parents, Lewis Clarence and Nettie Kimmons Fowler. Lethel was of the Baptist faith and was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rob Weaver, sisters, Bonnie McClure, Ruby Mooney, and Reba Fowler, and brothers, Roy Fowler, Ruel Fowler, James Fowler, and Edwin Fowler.

She is survived by her children and in-laws; Melinda Goble, Ilene and Jerry Pettit, Robert and Jenne Weaver, Dora and Mike Vann all of Ellijay,GA; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren, Brothers; L.C. Flowler, and Charles Fowler all of Ellijay, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, July 11th, 2019 from the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Nealey and Rev. Shannon Westbrook officiating. Music and vocals will be by Darrell and Sharon Rogers. Interment will be in the church cemetery with Robby Pettit, Joey Pettit, Junior Pettit, Cody Weaver, Michael Vann, Jr., Allen McCollum, Evan Seymore, and Jacob Abercrombie all serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be all of the great-grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 4pm until 9pm on Wednesday, July 10th at the Logan Funeral Home. The family also requests that there be no food brought to the funeral home.
